Nowy Świat street is considered by many to be Poland's most expensive retail street and is among the most expensive retail locations in the world, as well as one of the top international retail locations in the luxury segment, according to a new study from a firm that specializes in global retail locations. This is further confirmed by the "Main Streets Around the World" rankings that were released earlier this year.
European car manufacturers are concerned that a new proposed EU rule for reducing or eliminating international steel quotas could greatly increase production and administrative costs. Poland is set to buy 26 trains for its new high-speed rail network that will be capable of speeds above 300 km/h, Deputy Infrastructure Minister Piotr Malepszak has revealed. The "Y" route will connect Warsaw with Sieradz, Wrocław, and Poznań at a speed of 350 km/h.
