Zoty Klakier is Back at Gdynia 2024 Festival of Polish Films

Złoty Klakier has returned to the Festival of Polish Films in Gdynia, adding to the excitement of the event with its prestigious award for the director of the film applauded the longest in the Main Competition. The duration of applause will be measured after the screenings at the Musical Theatre, with results displayed on a special board in the Foyer. The winner will receive a statuette shaped like clapping hands on a granite pedestal. Previously awarded from 1994 to 2018, the scandal surrounding the award's cancellation in 2018 has led to its reinstatement after a few years of hiatus. The 16 films competing for the Golden Lions at the 49th Festival of Polish Films in Gdynia include a diverse selection of titles. The festival will take place from September 23-28, 2024, with Interia as the event's media patron.
